For use with E61 or La Pavoni Lever group heads to monitor the temperature of the head.
The liquid crystal technology creates this special thermo-label which you can stick on your coffee machine group head. It has liquid crystal sensors or cells inside which will turn green and doing so indicates to the user the most accurate temperature of the metal surface on which they are attached.
The ideal temperature during an extraction is usually between 88ºC and maximum 94ºC.
It’s best to ask your coffee roaster which temperature is best to extract certain coffee origins. Some origins or blends burn at 88-89ºC and some are best at higher temperatures, like 93-95ºC.
Material: ABS with special liquid crystal sensors or cells inside. Self Adhesive surface which helps the strip to attach to most surfaces, even at high temperature.
Strip dimensions : 43 x 11mm.
The temperature range has an increment of 5°C and is as follows:
First strip: 60ºC – 90ºC (140ºF – 194ºF), Second strip: 90ºC – 120ºC (194ºF – 248ºF)
The price is for the two strips (pack of 2), that can indicate a temperature between 60ºC and 120ºC.
